Shopping Center Adds More Food and Beverage, As Well As Indoor/Outdoor Entertainment Activities to Elevate Visitor Experience
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (June 2020) – Flagstaff Mall, in response to deliver a more community-focused experience, announces new redevelopments of the center, as it excitingly re-opens doors for its patrons. The new enhancements of food and beverage tenants, with entertainment and community-driven activities, aims to progress the center’s overall vibrant visitor experience. With the recently added Starbucks and Hobby Lobby replacing Sears, Flagstaff Mall plans to continue to add to its significant and demanded tenant line up.“You may have noticed some construction going on the past few weeks,” said Kirk Williams, Managing Director of Cypress Equities -- the developer behind the shopping center’s improvements. “We are making some necessary and unique changes for Flagstaff Mall, which include a more activated West Wing and an outdoor communal area. Although shopping is still a major component of Flagstaff, these new features will add tremendous value and enjoyment to each and every visit for both locals and visitors alike.”Construction for the remodel started in early May 2020 with the mission of re-growing community involvement. The project focuses on redeveloping major areas on the JCPenney’s west-wing of the center, which promotes these efforts, such as an entertainment-focused outdoor area that will host seasonal events, music performances and family-friendly entertainment. New food and beverage tenants will also be added to the current mix, offering more of a shop, dine, play, stay environment for all ages. “While shopping continues to evolve, it is critical that we embrace our changing times while maintaining a great place to shop and connect with friends and family,” said the General Manager of Flagstaff Mall, Bonnie Bouschet. “This will also enable us to put on more community events, bringing additional excitement.”The remodel is set to complete Fall of 2020.
